Dr. Ravinder Institute of Nursing:
With the aim of development and with a dream of imparting quality education especially to the girls in the field of nursing, Late Dr. Ravinder Singh had come up forward with an idea to develop the healthcare sector and education standards of the Faridkot region and had laid the foundation of Malwa Educational society registered under the Society Registration Act, XXI of 1860.
Since the establishment of this Malwa Educational Society, many steps have been taken to improve the educational standards and healthcare service standards in Faridkot region. Many nursing institute, other degree institutes, schools have been founded under this organization and managed by them.
All the institutes and schools have been doing great in delivering quality education.
In 2007, another nursing institute was established in the memory of Dr Ravinder Singh in Bajakhana, Faridkot Punjab. Post death of Dr. Ravinder Singh, the management of Malwa Educational Society decided to establish an institute in his memory and therefore names it as ‘Dr. Ravinder Institute of Nursing. The institute started with offering courses like nursing and midwifery. The institute is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Faridkot and approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and is affiliated to Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), Punjab Govt.
The institute was opened with the motive to deliver the quality education to the aspirants and train them to become the well-qualified nurses who can efficiently fulfil their job responsibility when they goes into the practical field. Our campus have excellent infrastructure, equipped classes and laboratories and these all amenities together enhance the overall learning experience of the students. We adopted various effective teaching method through our well qualified and experienced team of nursing faculties who have done lots of research in the healthcare industry and possess lot of experience in teaching.
